Quinta da Casa Amarela’ is located on the left bank of the Douro River, in the Cambres Valley, in the area classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, halfway between the cities of Régua and Lamego, in the heart of the oldest demarcated region in the world – The Douro.
It has been owned by the same family since 1885. The house, rebuilt and enlarged in the first quarter of the last century, gives its name to the property because of the yellow colour in which it is painted.
It is a family business that continues the region’s centuries-old traditions in the art of producing Port and Douro Designation of Origin wines.
