Description
Saint Jean du Barroux is the winery responsible for some of the purest expressions of wines from Provence, a region in France that is a mecca for wine lovers worldwide. Former chemist Philippe Gimel collaborated with renowned geologist Claude Bourguignon to find the perfect plot of land. Together, they chose the mountainous slopes of Le Barroux in Ventoux. The 16 hectares of old vineyards are meticulously cultivated organically and hand-harvested, all to protect the land and enhance its impressive terroir, which cultivates Syrah, Grenache, among other revered varieties.
