Producer Carlos Freitas is a wine scholar and likes to experiment. After success with the Deslize line, he now decided to innovate and make wines without wood, letting the terroir speak even louder within each bottle. The result is quite impressive. In the case of the red, you can see it’s a classic Douro wine, but a bit softer on the palate, more modern.
