Discovering a Quinta de Arcossó wine is like discovering one of Portugal’s best kept secrets. A winery nestled high in the Trás-os-Montes mountains, its history dates back some 400 years, when it was in the hands of the noble Pissaro family, descendants of the conquistadors of Latin America. In 2001, it was acquired by the prize-winning producer Amilcar Salgado, marking a new phase in its trajectory.
A phase that privileges the uniqueness of each wine produced, of each berry selected, in a relationship of deep respect for the cycles of nature. These bottles contain unique wines, complex aromas and long aftertaste.
