A dessert wine, made from late-harvested Sangiovese grapes with a small percentage of Canaiolo. The harvest is done in different stages of ripeness to balance acidity and tannins. Aged for 24 months in French oak barrels. Notes of ripe black fruits, currant, blackberry, cherries, raisins, and candied orange.
