The vineyards are located in Baixo Corgo at 600 meters of altitude, sheltered by the Serra do Marão, a natural barrier that gives them a continental climate character, with very hot summers and equally harsh winters. This wine comes from the region’s typical grape varieties and reflects the best that the Douro has to offer; in the case of the reserva, with 12 months of aging in oak, which gives it a very interesting complexity.
